Question: Councillor B. Dennehy - Entrance to Building site at Weston

Park, Oldtown.

"To ask the Chief Executive to ensure the entry to the building site at

Weston Park, Oldtown is closed and gated as is required as a health

and safety measure?"

Reply:

The site at Weston Park was recently sold. A Dangerous Structure warning

letter was issued under the Sanitary Services Act 1964.

It directed the new owners to secure the site, make it safe and prevent

any unauthorised access.

The Council contacted the owner again last week to reiterate the concerns

and they stated that they would arrange to get the issues at Weston Park

addressed. The situation will be monitored.
